Bait Shop/Retail Associate

Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Full Job Description

We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service for our Bait/Fuel and Gift Shop. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. Must be comfortable working in a marina. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Responsibilities

Greet and direct customers
Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
Ensure racks are fully stocked
Help customers fuel their vessel (boats & jet skis)
Use a net to get live bait out of tanks for customers
Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Skills

Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
Understanding of the retail sales process
Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
Basic math skills
Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
Flexibility to work various shifts
High school degree

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Boat Detailer

Our ideal boat detailer is detail oriented and self-motivated

Wash Boats of all sizes
Clean work area
Buffing/Compounding
Wash Downs * Waxing * Restoration

Responsibilities include:

Cleaning the interior and exterior of boats and trailers
Complete finish/detail on all boats, including cleaning windows, upholstery, canvas, isinglass, bilges, & fiberglass
Use high speed buffers and polishers to properly detail the interior & exterior surfaces to remove oxidation and bring the shine back
Properly use products for safe detailing of vessels including but not limited to cleaners for various surfaces, degreasers, deck cleaners, metal polishes, waxes, etc.
